VIPhoto™ software is designed to encode the personal data into the printed photograph. In this way, personal information and photograph are strongly linked together, and any tampering with a photograph or with variable information on the data page can be easily detected using our authentication systems. This technology protects against all forms of document fraud – counterfeiting, alteration, photo substitution, and cannibalization.
Passport, visas, national IDs, driver licenses have been successfully protected by this unique technology for more than 10 years. Recent improvements enable reliable data encoding even into the photographs of very bad quality, integration of ICC color profiles into the encoding process, digital decoding and web based authentication.
